Ben shifted. "Yeah.. so am I, I suppose.."

Ben figured that he was supposed to respond with his name. He hadn't been away from his friends very long, but it felt like he'd never spoken to anyone else in his life. "I'm Ben.." he said quietly.

Ben's throat closed up out of nervousness and he stammered. It was his first encounter with someone around his age (and not to mention, a girl!). "U-um...I..uh..can't remember.." He was sure he had just ruined his social life, and turned red as a result.

Ben stopped, and looked over, shocked. "H-huh?"

Ben started to walk toward the center of town, humming a song to himself quietly.

Ben stood up. He had no money at the moment, but maybe he could find something cool to look at in town.

Flamer panted heavily, then looked over at a violet light engulfing Azelf. "H-hey! What's going on?"

Flamer struggled some more, but he couldn't seem to do much. He lost his balance and got his hands stuck as well.

Flamer strained against the goop, sweat sizzling at his back flames. "Nggh-come-ON!" One foot came loose with a disgusting pop sound.

Flamer sprinted to try to help, but he was met with the same problem Sparky had. He hadn't been fast enough to get to her.
