Re: Did you guys enjoy the non Sonic/Shadow missions in SA1/2
SA1 Tails. He's okay, but a bit too easy (I beat the A missions with ease) and too much like Sonic. I also didn't like how a couple of his levels were just snowboarding. SA1 Knux: I actually wasn't too keen on these. Not sure why tho. I preferred how SA2 did it. Though I am doing a recent play throu...

Re: The Archie Sonic General
I first saw the covers on Sonic Mega Collection, then I read up on stuff about it on Wikipedia and would watch music videos with comic panels. This was during childhood and young teen years. It wasn't until high school that I got a hold of the archives, back issue bundles and new issues. My thoughts...

Re: What shameful things have you done as a Sonic Fan?
I had a crush on Sonic when I was ten up to my tween years. I drew a comic and made stories of human me and Sonic going on adventures and being in love. Of course Shadow was jealous and would kidnap me. Geez...What a cringey child I was. I'm almost positive I ripped up those comics years ago. Hopefu...

Re: Met anyone irl who likes Sonic?
I joined a gaming club in college. Most of the people were like me. They liked the adventure games, but don't like any of the new games. I've brought SA2B over and we had fun on 2 player mode. I don't think any of them revisit the Adventure games like I do though. My childhood friend got me into Son...

Re: What was the name of your first chao?
All I remember is that the first two got named by the fortune teller, because I didn't realize they could be manually named. They both became dark much to my dissapointment. I liked being Rouge, and it took a while to realize how alignment worked.

Re: Finally getting into SADX's chao; have some questions
I'm in the same boat as you. I recently started playing too. The animal glitch is super easy once you get past that first animal. Haven't played SA2b in a while, but I remember having a hard time doing the glitch. I haven't really had to farm animals. I just play through levels to try and get emblem...

Re: SA2 Steam Controllers
My friend recently gave me this generic controller that connects to the PC. Guess I'll try that first. (still haven't gotten the game yet) If that fails, gc controller will be my next attempt. Then xbox 360 if all else fails.

Re: Did Anything About Chao Creep You Out?
I had two Chao evolve into the Swim type yesterday. While I'm delighted about it, It sort of slants their eyes slightly to make them more fish like. One of the Chao also happened to have that infamous toothy grin. I still think he's cute, but man...look head on at him and he's like a Chao piranha. ...

Re: Crybaby experiment
This is really interesting. I'm not a fan of cry babies, because if I'm not mistaken, they do the tantrum cry on their back only, right? The one with the tears and shivering is only after abuse. I find the former creepy, but the latter cute. Anyhow, I'm interested to see what else you discover.

Yay more replies! The honest and detailed response is much appreciated, DarkyBenji
I still haven't given the game a try yet, but I'll get to it eventually.

Did Anything About Chao Creep You Out?
Back when I played this as a kid, when the chao would throw tantrums, it creeped me out. For one, I didn't like the crying noise, and two, I thought it was because the Chao were spoiled, or something was wrong. It only seemed to happen in hero garden though. That stupid principal had me paranoid abo...

Re: SA2 Steam Controllers
Ooh. A Gamecube controller sounds ideal, since that's what I've used for SA2 all my life. I'll definately look into that. I just figured the GC controller would not be possible. Thanks.

SA2 Steam Controllers
Hey guys, I'm planning on getting the game soon, so I wanna be prepared. I've never played a steam game before, so I was wondering what kinds of controllers work. Or is using the keyboard bearable? I only own nintendo systems, so I'm hoping to be able to purchase a somewhat cheap controller. I also ...

Re: Black Market Guide
Question. Does this apply to SAdx too? I noticed on the egg page, it listed unkown for amount of emblems needed for the egg to appear. Is this because no one has tested it, or is there no emblem limit for eggs.

Re: Humming in Dry Lagoon
Thanks, that's interesting. When I first played the game, I thought it was Rouge humming. Like lalala I'm looking for the emeralds. It wasn't until later playthroughs that I realized it sounded funny, but I thought it was like a beta voice they never took out. It wasn't until very recently I thought...

Re: Thoughts on Fangames with Chao Garden
Thanks for the reply. That's too bad about Sonic Souls, since the gameplay does look better than Sonic World. I guess that would explain why I can't find any info on the Chao. I may try Sonic World out then. It looked like it had some issues, but at least the game is free. I do love that huge Chao G...

Humming in Dry Lagoon
This is something that has bothered me for years. What is that humming in the first mission of Dry Lagoon? It's there when you first start the level, and then another noise is made when the turtle is free. It's the same noise in both the English and Japanese. It doesn't sound like Rouge, so...is it ...

Thoughts on Fangames with Chao Garden
Hi all, while waiting for SA2pc to go on sale, (So I can try out Chao World Extended) I was thinking of trying out some fan games with Chao Garden. I know there's Sonic World and Sonic Souls. I was just wondering if these were any good. I have seen Rinku's vids on Sonic World, but couldn't find stuf...
