Can't say I really have a least favorite evolution, though one that kinda freaks me out would be neutral/swim. Yeaah it looks cute at first, but once it gets into certain evolutions it goes from cute to creepy.

Other than the slight issues you already stated with the release of the early testing version, it seems to be quite functional so far! Exported the chao I started with and imported an existing one just fine. Didn't get the chao stuck in a place in the garden yet, and the card match game works great....

It's true though! Which is why I always make sure a newly hatched chao can swim before leaving it unattended.

Yep, that's the kind of order I was thinking of. And, no I don't believe it will lose it's animal behaviors, chao only lose animal behaviors upon reincarnation if I remember correctly.
