The Black Market should reset back to default once it refreshes its stock. With 9.4.1 there should be a timer on the beginning page of BM that shows when it'll refresh. Normally don't even have to disable debug menu on the codes either.

in that case you may not have the required files for mod loader to work, though typically that'd cause the game to crash at start up rather then entering a garden, so im not too sure bout that. If you are doing a clean save, i'd suggest going here and scroll down to "required downloads" and grab tho...

By chance, does it work with CWE and its side mods disabled but the other mods enabled?

...questionable mods aside, I'd suggest disabling some of the lesser known ones, the mod order overall seems correct, which leads me to believe some of those character mods are messing the garden up. For figuring out which one it could be, disable them one by one and try until the garden stops crash...

Are you able to show your mod list and order per chance? Maybe there's one we can spot that might be a common issue

Yeaa, those images are holdovers from the early days of the site before we had easy tools for chao picture taking, necessity of watermarking due to still being an up and coming site. But now that we have the tools and easy access to much better quality, I honestly wouldn't mind taking it upon myself...

Newgrounds was my first introduction to the internet as bad as that sounds back in like 2001-2002. I even "boycotted" Youtube when it was first released cause people often stole "newgrounds" videos before I caved in.

Can't speak for the wiki team, but i'd probably guess it's more a case of "rediscovery" as a lot of the new wiki team are modders looking into the internals of the chao system.
