I'm pretty sure he's a Dark/Power/Swim. Since you couldn't see what it looks like from the back, I decided to make one. Turns out it sort of curls in the back, like a loop.

AHHHH I'm in love with this so much. Really sucks that it's 3DS only. Guess it's gonna be pirate season.

I like Froakie, but Chespin looks pretty sweet too. And both of the legendaries look awesome. This is going to be a great generation.

If you do the Chaos 0, just make sure you do it right (the translucent version, not Shiny Sky Blue Two Tone).

Checking the stats would have probably answered your question. But it probably did become a Neutral/Swim, as they have the highest priority over all the other types. Maybe you gave it a Swim animal at the latest. But to keep it short, and to keep me from pretty much typing the same thing over, check...

No problem! And yeah, they should stay the same. If anything, there's going to be a slight tint change based on the evolution, but nothing major, most likely.
