Re: Fusion's Chao Editor 2.0 for SADX and SA2B (2012-12-11)
It works with ordinary SA2. Thanks for letting me know. New question: How do you change what gardens are unlocked in SA2? You can't in the current version, unfortunately. I decided to just release what I had, instead of delaying it further by adding more features. I might implement this in a future...

I'm not sure, as I haven't been able to test that. However, I would expect it to work fine. If you have Sonic Adventure 2 without the Battle Mode DLC, then feel free to try it and let me know.

Re: Fusion's Chao Editor 2.0 for SADX and SA2B (2012-12-11)
Assuming the two Steam Sonic Adventure ports are more like the Gamecube version as opposed to the XBox one (which I have heard is more constrictive with Chao combos), I am *definitely* going to get Mom's credit card to buy it online I don't recommend getting the Steam version of Sonic Adventure DX....

Re: Fusion's SADX PC Chao Editor (Version 1.0, 2011-01-15)
Fusion's Chao Editor 2.0 released! I'm now releasing the second version of my editor. The biggest change is that I've added support for the Steam version of Sonic Adventure DX, as well as the recently released Sonic Adventure 2 (also on Steam). I've therefore renamed the program from Fusion's SADX ...

Re: Does transferring hurt friendship of same characters?
Short answer: Birra should still love Sonic on SA2B. Long answer: From my testing on the PC versions of the two games, it seems that SADX is aware of SA2B features, but SA2B is not aware of SADX features. These features include character bonds, animal abilities, classroom skills, toys, etc. This is...

do you have a specific date yet. could you supply a date? :33 No, I can't. It'll be done when it's done. how is the sonic adventure dx for steam chao editor comin? I'm currently thinking of combining the new SA2 editor with my existing SADX editor, which means that I would simply release an updated...

Re: What are blitz chao?
As I understand it, a "blitz chao" isn't just a two-tone white chao, but a dark two-tone white chao.
There are some people here who tend to complain about the name "blitz chao", but I don't see anything wrong with it. It is just a nickname, like "sumo chao", "ninja chao", or "Sonic chao".

Re: Gradual evolution question
The reason is that the sliders have minimum and maximum values. As explained on the website and in my thread, there are two sliders, Swim ↔ Fly and Run ↔ Power. These sliders have values ranging from -1 to 1. For a child chao, each animal adds/subtracts 0.1 to/from one of the two sliders. I'll go th...

Re: Gradual evolution question
First, since there are sliders that dictate what type the chao would evolve into, would 2 of each chao drive basically keep them where they are? So if it was going to be a run, just feed him 2 of each drive, and the sliders will never move? If you give your chao one of each Chaos Drive, then its ev...

Dxtory is far better than Fraps. It's much more customisable, and has much better performance in my experience.

Re: So... How about that coding.
I am primarily a C# programmer, but I also have a good amount of experience with Java, C/C++, PHP, JavaScript, and of course HTML. Visual Basic - Easy to write and trivializes the creation of GUIs, but is absolutely worthless as it can only be used on Windows and requires the infernal .NET Framework...

Re: Two Sonic Advance Tiny Chao Garden questions.
http://chao.hippotank.com/tcg/rumours There is a rumour that on the Version 2 games, your Chao can ride the toy duck around in the pond. You may even see screenshots or sprites of the Chao doing this — these should be considered fake. We have been unable to confirm the existance of this feature and ...

Re: [SADX & SA2B] Chao age and lifespan.
Evolution strength determines how visible the gradual evolution is, and it's also used to decide when a child chao should evolve. It increases over time, and resets when a chao evolves or reincarnates. The Swim ↔ Fly and Run ↔ Power values represent the chao's gradual evolution type , but not the st...

Re: Breeding and crybabies
As Mamkute said, personalities are not very well understood yet, and I haven't done much testing. However, from my experiments I think there is a good chance that personalities could be passed down. It also appears that the face a chao is born with is related to its personality.

Try adding the line "screen=0" underneath the line "[sonicDX]", like so:
Code: Select all
[sonicDX]
screen=0
padconfig=pad_user
[pad_user]
buttons=8
pad0=2
pad1=10
pad2=16
pad3=17
pad4=9
pad5=4
pad6=1
pad7=3
pad8=3

Re: Fusion's SADX PC Chao Editor (Version 1.0, 2011-01-15)
Open Windows Explorer and navigate to wherever you installed or extracted the game files. Do you see a file there called "sonicDX.ini"? If so, open it up in Notepad and change the line "screen=1" to "screen=0". Save it and then try to run the game; it should run in a window rather than in fullscreen...
