Atlantis obviously exists.
It's probably just really boring compared to what stories about it would imply. Like a big featureless stretch of foundation stones where a city used to be.

It's my understanding that many mythological dragons were simply misinterpretations of dinosaur bones, though many modern reptiles are at least somewhat Draconian in apperance.
Also, while I don't think any true fire breathing organisms have been discovered, I remember reading about an insect with the ability to spit nepalm(or at least a chemical with nepalm-like properties) and their are several real-life organisms that are stranger than many mythological creatures.
On a somewhat related note, did you know that many thought the duck-billed platypus was a taxidermist's attempt at a prank until the first live specimens were brought back to Europe?
