It's that time of year again. What's everyone planning on doing for Halloween? Do you like this time of year, or are you fairly indifferent?

I'm going to dress up as Slender(Wo)man and ..well
either going to a party with dad and stepmom
or
explore the abandoned houses and haunted areas nearby with a family friend (and record video and audio to do ghost hunting)

I may even do both, however I don't like parties, but I love exploring. :0

i'm not really going out, but i'm looking into harlequin suits or a start because i think i'm gonna try my hand at silver age harley quinn just to do it, and i'm pretty tiny like as in, atrophied muscle mass will do that, so skin tight suits shouldn't be an issue

i'm sure i'll have the boys lining up because my bat powers increase on halloween night

but enough silly out of me, in all seriousness i'll probably do that and watch campy horror with someone among my incredibly decorated living space.

Sadly everyone works this year, so no party or late night scary gaming.
I don't really know what I'm going to do. I tried bringing up trick or treating but I keep getting told I'm too old. (I'll be 23 this year)
Being a giant nerd/cosplayer I have costumes and costume-y things laying around, so I'll probably put something on just for fun.

Otherwise I don't know. I'm going to keep preaching to everyone about how we outta do something, and see where that gets me.

I have not done anything special for Halloween since 2007. Mostly because I'd keep getting sick right around that time, or just simply not planning ahead and completely forgetting to do anything. Unfortunately I stay at my dad's house for the most part, and he hates Halloween and thus pretty much will not allow me to do really anything special for it when I'm at his place, he won't even let me give out candy to the trick or treaters in our neighbourhood, I'd just go over to my mom's house instead so I could at least do that, but she currently lives in a dead-end section of the neighbourhood that nobody really goes through.

I'm just gonna end up staying home watching TV, maybe play some games, just the same general stuff I do every day.

Mainly, I'm listening to audiobooks of seasonally appropriate literature. Finished Dracula by Bram Stoker yesterday and have Frankenstein queued up as well as some H.P.Lovecraft.

Also, my fanfiction writing(none of it fit for posting here) is currently focused on a series of erotic cosplay-themed one-shots, though unless I see a sudden surge in productivity, I won't be getting all them out by Halloween.

I plan on doing the same thing as every year with only a few deviations. I'm of course heading up to Riley's Farm with my family, I'm so excited! I haven't been able to eat the amazing caramel they make there in live five years! Maybe I'll make homemade caramel with my mom. We're probably gonna make mummy weenies and go trick-or-treating. I'm in a new neighborhood this year, so I'm excited and nervous to see what'll be different.

I'm more of a Christmas person, though, Halloween is fun and all, but I dunno. It never actually feels like fall is a real season. Least not in California. It's hard for me to get into the Halloween mood, but I do like it.
