i upgraded from win7 to win10 a few days ago after holding out for so long

i've noticed that my hardware seems to be more ""compatible"" with it? idk, it seems weird but i've been having less hiccups with it

my laptop is about a year old mind you

i dualboot os x 10.11 and windows 10 actually. i keep all my creative tools on my mac (slow, regrettably) end and my games on my pc end

While I use Windows 10 because of compatibility, I'd say they're all not very good.

I'm gonna be honest, I feel like my Wii U has a better interface. (And yes, I've looked at the competition. They're not much better.)

Otherwise, I don't really care much other than the fact I use my current computer to play games so having anything else would narrow down anything on Steam to like, 10% of what it was before.

I run Adriane Knoppix, which is a Debian-derived Linux Distribution.

I voted Linux Mint/Ubuntu since, as other Debian-derived distros, they were the closest option to what I use.

Desktop: Windows 7
Laptop: Triple boot of OSX Mountain Lion / OSX El Capitan / Ubuntu. I wanted to also have Windows 10 but it won't let me without formatting my hard drive for some dumb reason

have you tried unplugging all devices while setting it up? also you just need to format the windows partition

It's a laptop, there's nothing plugged into it
I use rEFit which it seems to disagree with. I'd need to remove the other partitions in order to load Windows 10

I use windows 7. I beat up and finally killed windows 10 updates on my laGtop. I did try it before but my laGtop runs to slow for it. I only wanted it cause I heard it came with a recorder but apparently my computer was incompatible so I just stuck with the recorder I got now.

I'm using 8.1 and disabled Win 10 updates forever. I'm quite happy with my OS and have no plans to change to this privacy harming Win 10 crap. You'll never get my user statistic alive! x)

am i the only person who thinks win10 is pretty aight from a newcomer's perspective

i mean yeah it comes preinstalled with candy crush (which i promptly removed) and the start menu isn't all that great but it's still awesome
