But you still only have to pay $.50 for a key or whatever, so you have the other $4.50 to get another game or more from the Store.

Valve gave the solider a LASER CANNON.
Upon firing it instantly creates over 4,000 Polygons, or, enough polygons to create a high definition Pyro model.

Way to go Valve, you have successfully given me single digit framerates.

That will give you the basics of what your computer can handle, if it can handle TF2 then get it, even if it's Yellow bar, still get it, it only lags in games where you have lag, or about 5 people have lag.
Retro you filthy liar. There's no such thing as a non-laggy TF2!

I've had some questions about this game for a while, and this seems like the right place to ask them.

1: Does this game support headphones/mics?

2: If so, how shunned would someone be without them?

3: If not very much, can I mute everybody?

4: And lastly, what is the exact/main objective of the game? Deathmatch? Capture the Flag/Base? Assorted flavors?

1: Yes, completely
2: I've never used a microphone. I'd argue you'd be disadvantaged without headphones due to less awareness of your surroundings though (eg. hearing a Spy decloak behind you), but I've played hundreds of hours with no sound entirely
3: You can mute individual people (both mic + chat), you can hide the chat and disable voice entirely if that suits you (I normally have mics muted)
4: To get as many hats as possible There's over a dozen different official gamemodes, including CTF, Payload, King of the Hill, Arena, Attack/Defend, Arena, etc. Most of these are accomplished of course by killing enemy players

But you said, hinder "your" enjoyment. Meaning me, and everyone else that isn't you.

Ask anyone who has been playing TF2 for years before f2p, they'll pretty much say that it ruined TF2 more than the introduction of hats.

Just to give some context as to why Aidan bumped the thread for this specific update:

TF2 hasn't had a major update like this one in 2 years, and this update itself has been in the making for that 2 years.

Well unfortunately, Nano there's just no more space in the gaming world. We just gotta accept the fact that gamers need to make room for terrific shooters such as:

>Loadout
>Monday Night Combat
>Super Monday Night Combat
>Tribes Ascend
>Quake Champions
>Diabotical
>Gigantic
>Dirty Bomb
>Bleeding Edge
>Overwatch
>Brink
>Battleborn
>Lawbreakers
>Garden Warfare
>Gotham City Imposters

Well boys, Creators.TF is shutting down

Truth be told, I saw this day coming before Creators.TF even existed, all the mods and plug-ins caused their servers to go to ****, forcing everyone to move to other servers. That's on top of having the download a mod to even play on the servers, and the biggest issue that always plagues these sorts of projects, financing and lack of motivation. It was never a matter of 'if,' but 'when?'

And along with this, Open Fortress and TF2C still haven't been brought back for download.

Personally this doesn't affect me, since I've been playing on the same goddamn community 2fort server for the better part of a year now.
