Being the pleb I am I just now noticed this. So with a bump, I wanted to say that I love the soundtrack and can't wait for updates. If you need any help in plot development or anything, let me know. I'd love to help out if need be.

also, just a question. My best friend in rl heard my theme this morning and wants to know what Riku uses to make TCG's music. My friend likes the idea of maybe making video game styled music someday and likes the TCG's chiptune sounds.

I use FL Studio 10. I feel like making a tutorial just because of how often this question is asked.

before we start:
download FL Studio from here
and the NES soundfont from here

Spoiler:

open FL Studio and you should see something like this (with a different background image ofc)



right click a channel and replace it with Fruity Soundfont Player



click the button with the folder icon on the window that appears



choose the soundfont, wherever you have it/whatever you named it



now you have the NES soundfont loaded.



click the tab with "PIANO 1" and change it to whatever instrument you want.



right click the NES soundfont channel in the dashboard, and click "Piano Roll". feel free to screw around with it however you want and make music. repeat the above process for any additional instruments you want to add.



however, even when you're done with your first song, you haven't added... THE ELUSIVE CI:TCG ECHO
close the "3xOSC" tab on the leftmost menu and scroll down to mixer presets
open it and drag "Mastering for strings" onto the dashboard in an empty space, and it should add the echo.

oh, and the bar at the top with "130" in it is your tempo, just drag it up and down to increase/decrease the speed of the song

In other news, sorry production has been rather slow people. But since music is complete (I think?) We will now focus on releasing screenshots of the game.

Attention team, anyone who is online tomorrow after school ends should report to skype or the chatbox. We are having one final push to discuss all current matters I can think of.

- Actually fleshing out and building up a nice story behind all the combat.
- The last few cards that remain undone.
- The matter of who exactly will be fighting in the four vs four match in the doubles tournament.
- Possibly setting a new date of completion for the game to allow us more time to test the finer details.
