my 3DS broke'd last night
should i get a 2DS a 3DS or a 3DSXL to replace it? we're really tight on money so idk about an XL but a used 3DS is the same price as a new 2DS

Re: so
Well, which of the two would work best for you?
2DS:
-Apparently very comfortable when using according to a couple of people around here
-Will need to use a case when not in use, or you risk messing it up
-No 3D function
-Low Price
3DS:
-Has 3D
-No need for a case
-Possibly more expensive than a 2DS (I'm not sure how much used ones go for)
If anyone can, feel free to add more, I'm just listing what pops up in my head.

2DS:
3DS:
XL:
I'd go with a used 3DS since I'm not really concerned with SD storage and it's more portable. Battery life is just whatever since it's not like the 3DS is that much worse than the 2DS and I wouldn't consider the XL for it being pricey compared to the other models. Since it's just as much as a new 2DS, get the product that feels better made since comfort may not be that much of an issue. Plus the Midnight Purple 3DS is rad as heck and should be the first option you consider.
Bottom line: The XL is probably too much for your budget and the 3DS is the better investment over the 2DS because of its cheapness.

Re: so
Get a used 3DS, they're pretty cheap these days, if you just want the system by itself.
I've seen it got for less than a new 2DS.

^The 3D capable models allow you to turn it off, so the absence/presence of 3D should be a non-issue for those not interested in 3D.
Back to the main topic, Have you considered getting the broken one repaired? Even if the warranty has expired, repairing such a new system might be cheaper than replacing it, even if the replacement is used/refurbished.
Also, considering that SD cards up to 32 GB are dirt cheap, I would hardly consider the size of the included SD card as noteworthy, especially since the OP probably has a pre-existing SD card containing anything they would want access to on the new 3DS.
