^^that is... fantastic. And yet I cannot help but be horrified by it. Who would do this.

Edit: so, been playing as Reinhardt with a friend on Ana and I have come to the conclusion that a nano-boosted Reinhardt exists solely to kill everyone in existence. I played half a dozen games like this last night, and I was cackling like a madman through every one.
I'm foo757#1804 on battle.net, if anyone is up for Hearthstone/Overwatch.

I've gotten into trying PC Overwatch more, and PC controls are so hard to get used to, especially after being used to a controller for so long. I just had a game where I lost every single engagement as McCree to Genji, a character I'm meant to counter. I keep practicing in the range and against Ana bots, but god damn is it hard. =w=

Word of advice, learning aiming with a mouse via playing McCree (the fourth sniper) is one of the worst possible decisions. If you want to learn how to aim better, play D.VA, Soldier 76, or Zarya

Recently reached level 80. Not a big accomplishment, but I'm getting close to 100.

Is it really? I assumed it'd be a good decision because he's hitscan and single shot. I do quite like all the heroes you listed, so I'll give that a shot. Thank you!

Congratulations, Fox! Nearly at the promised starlands.

Oh I should've mentioned

Getting good at aiming with Zarya will guarantee you some perfect him on other characters. I find her laser beam to be so finicky and unreliable at times because it refuses to stay on target and damage constantly. I've never figured out if it was ping issues, performance problems, or just a lack of aiming on my part. Getting consistent tracking with your beam though would greatly help you in tracking other players.

Zarya's lazer and its aiming is very wonky, but it still serves as a great teacher, not to mention she's a great class in general, especially when it comes to learning how to aim (having both a hitscan and a projectile weapon is really useful for learning how to aim both weapon types)

I've found that Zarya's laser is hard to aim, for me, because it's hard to tell where it actually ends. I have no idea what the actual range on it is. But when you are at high energy and keeping it on target, it just melts people.

Sometimes it's hard to learn how to aim after coming from consoles, even now I think consoles have gimped me and I'll never truly reach a level where I can aim well, but over the last three years or so of using a mouse to aim I've improved ten-fold.

Just keep playing and playing, you'll get the hang of it eventually. Mess around with settings like sensitivity and make sure you don't have mouse acceleration on and things like that, it hurts your aim.

Overwatch is actually pretty good because you don't have to be very good at aiming to play the game since there are classes that revolve around doing other roles, like Rein is more defensive, and helps teams with pushes. Torb builds to give the team some backup on last, or builds on the payload if you're a MADMAN. Mercy and Symmetra both have their own roles that don't involve aiming much.

Even the classes that do involve aiming, they're not that bad. 76 is the best by far to learn how to aim with. Just play whoever you feel is right and works with the team, if you need a support, don't choose Ana, choose Lucio or Mercy. If you need defense, choose Torb or Mei, not Widow or Hanzo.

You'll get better eventually, it's just a matter of time.

It's ok for like one game

Then it just gets really annoying when you realize how bad the right click is sometimes.

It's basically a worse Rocket League, it's fun until you realize how sluggish and boring it can be when both teams have a goalie.

I'm liking the event otherwise though, the skins all look okay, and i got pretty good crate rolls the past few days.

Anyone get anything good from Summer Games? I got the Genji skin, Zarya, Widow, and both Tracer skins.

I one saw Nano (Fox's username) and Ster (Famous TF2 and now OW youtuber that Fox loves) playing a game together when he told me he couldn't play because he was in California.

We made a compromise and took Jerma from Star, but honestly it wasn't worth it.

Chances are that wasn't star/ster

Multiple people can have the same username, there are 4 random numbers at the end of every username that only show up in things like the battle.net friendslist

You got me there. It was included in the rig though because of this slightly scandalous video. (Language warning I think)

Also sorry, not that it was in THIS video in particular, but this was sorta what spawned the whole dance thing with Tracer if I remember right.

So, season 2 of competitive dropped early. Seems pretty much like the first season from what I've seen, except there's no more coin flip, so ties can actually happen. New map, Genji nerfs, Mei buffs, and a BM filter so all those people saying "gg ez" and other things like that are having their words replaced with... nicer things, to say the least. I like it.

Overwatch Free "Weekend"

Post by chaoadventures »

You can play Overwatch for free right now until the 25th. This started yesterday actually, but I honestly didn't pay enough attention to find out myself.

I'm personally only downloading it to solidify my stance that the only FPS games I can stand are Metroid Prime and Slime Rancher and to potentially find out why this is the case,
but I'm sure this concerns other, more shooter loving people that go here.

Why exactly I'm the one reporting this is a mystery to us all though.
