What game satisfied you the most when you beat it, and why?
Mine is Super Mario Sunshine. It's the first game I ever played, back when I was little. It's influenced so much of my life in positive ways. I'll never forget how amazing it felt when the credits rolled.
So, what game satisfied YOU the most when you beat it, and why?
(Not necessarily 100%.)

Fedoras and umbrellas will always stand beside me!

I Wanna Be The Guy, being an absurd platformer, in which I was stuck on the final boss for about 3 months, of fairly common playing.
Or, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle 100%, which I did just recently, and was always a goal of mine as a kid.

For non-100%, Metroid: Zero Mission because the cartridge I was using didn't save so I learned to beat the game in about two days,
I was lucky to have an GBA SP for that.
For 100% Super Mario Sunshine, I got every Shine Sprite and Blue Coin in the game, and I also learned to finish "The Goopy Inferno" without taking the
underground paths.

Kingdom Hearts 2 (non-100%). I got stuck on one of the bosses and just gave up for months before coming back and easily beating him. Then, the rest of the game was so good I was like "this is sooooo awesome".

Probably my 100% run of Fire Emblem: Awakening because I spent over two and a half years filling out the entire support log. Nothing more satisfying than that. And it's a great game and super fun to play so when I got to the end the first playthrough I was super excited.

Either my Dark Souls SL1 run, or my Dark Souls perma-gravelorded + hyper-aggression run. That's more-so because I absolutely adore Dark Souls rather than it being difficult though. Every time I beat a run in Dark Souls I feel so satisfied because I normally always do a new run. I've lost count of how many runs I've done.

Omg when i played that mission as a kid i thought thats how they wanted you to do it, i spent like 3 days straight trying to beat it when i was younger.
For me though it'd be Sonic Advance 2, as a kid i was unable to beat the game with every character, much less get the emeralds. So returning once i was much older and finding all the emeralds and beating it by myself without a guide was the most satisfying thing.

I'm pretty proud of myself for completing Rayman 1 without using any continues, and still had 26 lives to spare by the time Mr. Dark was defeated.
Donkey Kong Country Returns 200% completion was incredibly satisfying at the end too, that mirror mode... now I need to do Tropical Freeze Hard Mode with Cranky Kong only :P

Zelda 1 and 2. Both were challenging to me, but I think 2 was a bit more satisfying than the first one, due to the insane difficulty spikes.
hey there! I don't have anything to put here for the moment, you can just move along now.
Re: What game satisfied you the most when you beat it, and w
Zelda II is a good one indeed. At the time that was the last game I had to go before beating every Zelda Game (CDi doesn't count.)
And that Thunderbird fight had me stuck for several days. Stupid Thunderbird.

For me, it's Dragon Age Origins. The ending just felt perfect and tailor-made to my choices during the long adventure.
Vampires smell good.

Probably either Earthbound or Mother 3. I kept pushing myself saying that I would beat it even though I had doubts throughout most of my run because I progressed so slowly and sometimes forgot to play for a month or two.
