This guide is amazing, I've NEVER before found one that tells how many emblems you need, and it's been driving me crazy.
Especially since I'm also having the common problem of certain eggs just not appearing in the Black Market, even if I have the emblem requirement. Has anyone figured out what's really behind this? I took a look at the egg set by file chart, but it's not accurate for my game... I know for sure on my first file I have never seen blue, green, orange, red, or their shiny counterparts. I do have yellow, lime green, purple, pink, and their shinies.

An odd thing I did notice is that when I tried the second file, which only had 8 emblems, the only egg available was white. I immediately went back to the first file, and again the only egg available for a while was the white one. I'm not sure if that just implies that the current list of items transfers between files or what...

Anyway, it's driving me crazy, I really want a shiny blue egg!

Two things to add:
Do you think you could include how many emblems you need to get certain hats? The first stripey-sock hat appeared for me around 95 emblems.
Also, I just got Omochao's theme even though I only have 100 emblems.

^ Thank you! Well, I don't know about the hats but themes are very rare so you don't see them right away. Omochao usually appears from 75-100 Emblems.

Most of the eggs it says you get with a small amount of rings I didn't get till I had over 100 emblems. I have 137 emblems and the blue egg just appeared! I got the sky blue egg before the blue egg. But most of these were close too the order they appeared on mine! (I can already buy the shiny black egg)

Nope 180 emblems for Shiny black egg. I had 175 for YEARS and NEVER saw it untill I finaly reached 180. Shortcut to shiny black chao. regular Black chao + ANY shiny chao = Shiny black chao. This DOES work, I tested it.

Actually, I got a shiny black egg once, and I'm nowhere near 180.

Well, I put 140 Emblems for the Shiny Black Egg.

^But I have had 175 emblems for months still playing a lot and never saw it. And never did till I got all 180 emblems. Even if you don't need all 180, I know there is no way you can buy a Shiny black egg with only 140 emblems.

@ Nintendawg: I tested it and I found it at 140 Emblems. It takes a while to get the Emblems BUT IT WORKS. I'm tired of people telling me they don't see some of this stuff in their Black Market. YOU DON'T SEE EVERYTHING RIGHT AWAY.

Hmm. The green egg was available when I had 23 emblems. I would assume that the green egg became available at 20 emblems instead of 30.

Can you get Maria's Theme on the Wii? Because I have a GBA and 180, I just don't know if the GBA can connect to the Wii.
