Chao Training Level?

Post by JacksHacks »

I am wondering what is a really good map to get chaos drives/animals extremely quickly.

Currently, I am liking the level Iron Gate (Eggman) on hard mode.

Is there anything better?

I would say White Jungle and Green Forest.
I wish Lindsay was an Otaku too.

I'm a big fan of Iron Gate on Hard Mode. Getting 10 chaos drives takes around 30 seconds, and getting 10 drives of a specific color generally only takes a minute or so. Excellent for rapid stat-boosting.

Fun little related tidbit: Iron Gate's Hard Mode has waaay more enemies in the GameCube version than the Dreamcast version. It's still a good level for snagging drives on the DC, but it's way better on the GC.

Drives were always too slow for my tastes. Animals are so much faster for grinding stuff to 99, especially since they don't fly away when you do the glitch, provided you're quick.

For Run? Cheetahs in Wild Canyon.
For Fly? Condors. Also in Wild Canyon.
For Power? Gorillas in Iron gate. Or Tigers in Security hall.
For Swim? Otters in Prison Lane.

And Skeleton dogs in Pumpkin hill for when I'm done. :P
Best part is they also learn the actions from these animals so they do more stuff.

There is a gorilla about 3 seconds in on Tails's level, Mission Street. So I would have to say just do that and restart four times, and then just do the glitch if that's what you're into.

Well if I raise a chao and he has no specialty, I go to pumpkin hill for skeleton dogs. Glide forward, dig in the shovel claw circle for a 1up and take the rocket to church mountain. Get the skeleton dog. Then restart. It sounds like it takes forever but in reality it only takes like 10 seconds. Also on sky rail, immediately after the firs rail turn right and you will see a bear. Get it and jump backwards off of the cliff behind you. There will be a platform with a sheep and an extra life. Once again restart the level and repeat. This also takes around 10 seconds. Good luck. :darkcool:
