I've recently decided to get a puppy. I've been looking for awhile, but I told my mom I wanted one for Christmas. So two days ago she sits me down and says, "Would you like to know about one of your presents early?" and as it turns out her coworkers dog is giving birth any day now and we can have pick of the litter. Of course the puppy wont be ready to leave its mom till Feb. but I'll be able to play with it and meet it as it grows up. The mom is a Chihuahua and the dad is a Pomeranian. Their thinking the litter will be kind of small, maybe 2-3 puppies. I'm just going to pick the one I like the most, so I don't know the gender yet. Anyway I need some naming ideas!
Long story short, I'm getting a half Pomeranian half Chihuahua puppy and I need some ideas for names. Don't know the gender so I'd like to hear suggestions for both genders.

Pom is actually kind of a cute nickname.
I already have a Gerbil named Dom though. I don't want it to be too close.
@Mana
I liked Lulu a lot till my mom had to mention she had a dog named Lulu.
D: Knowing another animal with that name ruins it for me.
Ah so she was born this morning!!
There was a long story so I'm just gonna copy and paste what I wrote on tumblr.
Spoiler:
This morning at 10 we got a call from my moms coworker saying the dog was in labor and there was no one at home besides her 14 year old daughter and the doggy mom, Teaka, was having problems.
We initially ignored the phone ringing, but then our other dog started howling. In the 6 years we’ve had her shes never howled in the house once. But she was howling at the phone. Lucky for us!
So we rush downtown and struggle to find the house. We had to use three GPS’s which got us lost, and then we just called the coworker.
So we get there and the first puppy it out and cold, and Teaka didn’t bite the umbilical cord. And the second puppy was being born and stuck.
So my mom ties off the cord with dental floss, gets some vegetable oil and helps lube up the mom to get the stuck puppy out.
The puppy wasn’t breathing well, so she had to leave to get an suction cup thing at the store, so I held the puppy and rubbed her back until I got her to cry and cough some stuff up.
After about 5-10 minutes maybe I got her to cry finally!
She cleared her nose and was breathing fine.
So after a very scary two hours of everything happening, both puppies are out and with mom.
I already claimed the girl, the second out. Shes bigger and I think she’s going to have longer hair. I’m thinking I'm going to name her Olive K. (Tentative)
Feb. 8th is the earliest I can take her home. Time to start puppy proofing!

I won't be around. She's getting picked up by a local breeder (who's related to us and gave us our first dog) who will assist in the birth later today.

well the dog had her pups yesterday. the midwife didn't show up, so mom had to midwife instead. I had to go with dad to keep him awake at work (he hadn't had sleep for over 24 hours) so I didn't witness the birth (although I wasn't feeling that well from nervousness so watching something like that could have had me sick to the stomach...). 9 healthy pups, one runt, and 3-4 with Rottweiler (the father) eyebrows. all of them are mostly black, 1-2 are pure black, and most of them have speckles of white on them. 1 has a white ring on its neck, rottweiler eyebrows, white feet and belly. She went into labor around 5 pm and when I got home from dad's work it was 1 am. They were very noisy, one sounds like a kitten, and all together they sound like coyote pups. One had crawled off the blanket and dad had to move it back to momma. XD

That's a big litter!
Glad the birth was smooth, and everyone sounds healthy.
Noisy loud cries are great to hear on day one.
You should post some pictures when you get the chance. I'd love to see.
Today is one week, and I got to visit Olive again.
Shes doing great. Shes a big pig! Her belly is so fat and shes doing great.
More white is popping up all over. Her chin is white too!
