Welcome to The Chao Island Artists' Group! This group is designed to group together members of the site that enjoy drawing into one little community of artists that can share their works with each other and improve together. Members can post their art and receive feedback from other artists, as well as learn other techniques and grow as an artist while a part of this community. Please note, that this group is NOT designed to replace individual art topics in the Artwork and Movies board! In the years that I have managed this group (when it was active), I have seen much improvement in the artwork of those who took part in this usergroup, myself included, and I wish to start this group up again so that the newer artists can have that same experience here. Thank you.
Aspiring artists who wish to join, here are some guidelines you might want to read before requesting to join:
You do not need to be at a certain skill level to join. All that is required is a desire to draw and improve.
You also do not require an art topic in the Artwork and Movies board. If you do have one however, you may include a link to it in your post requesting to join.
It doesn't matter what your tools of the trade are (ex. paper and pencil, tablet/mouse and *insert progarm here*, or both), just as long as you draw in general.
If you wish to join, please include at least one example of your work. Also do not give us more than three examples in you first post.
Rules (Please read these before joining):
1. Stolen/Traced/Edited works will NOT be accepted, and this includes recolors. These do NOT help one improve, and if you post art that isn't yours, you will be warned, and if your actions continue, will be removed from the group.
2. Please be respectful to the other artists. Offering feedback and constructive critisism is allowed, but do not butcher one's work or an artist in general. This does not offer any sort of feedback and in general is downright rude. Once again, being mean to others in the group will get you warned once, and then removed from the group if your actions persist.
3. Expect criticism. Whether you decide to take it when it's offered is up to you, however do NOT openly reject it. This includes "I don't need your help" or "That's just the way I draw, stop criticizing me". Openly rejecting criticism will result in a group warning, and removal from the group if your actions persist. This rule goes hand-in-hand with the above rule about being respectful to other artists.
4. General Chao Island rules and regulations apply and you're expected to follow at all times.
Users will be warned up to three times for bad behavior, before being kicked from the group.
The most important rule is to obviously have fun. I am hoping this group can be kept alive this time around.
Enjoy!

After making the line art, I just make new layer, and put the new layer underneath the LineARt layer.
I then use the Paintbrush (Anitialising Disabled) to color the art on the new layer.
Then I merge the layers down, save, upload, win.
I will be making some from scratch too sometime!
OH, and anyone who ever wants to use banners that I make, go right ahead but please remember to give credit.
Hah! Those are awsome! The first one made me 'lol' XD and the colours and species of the first one >.> are the same as mine was.... when he was a child XD Hey! Can I use the first one? I want to >.>
Btw, my friend Bailey might join this group, and I'll probably persuade Claire to also... They can both draw pretteh good. Biley actualy draws pretty close to how I draw mine O.o but that's with chao >.> Claire is kinda good >.>
