I think, we've got some Hoenn remakes on our hands.

Ubers is like the BL tier that is above OU, and it isn't necessarily balanced for tier competitively as it is just as a banlist. I don't think they really try to make uber balanced.

They don't. Ubers is a banlist first, tier second. OU is the primary tier used for balance.

For anyone in Europe, Australia, and anywhere that isn't North America, they are releasing details on how to get the special demo for ORAS now. No word for North America yet, unfortunately. Here is the full list of countries and the method to obtain the demo in them.

You are able able to ride on them in the clouds. We now return to Pokemon Ranger.

Also, Bird Jesus has returned.

Anyway... Mega Beedrill looks like a huge, terrifying yellow jacket bee to me. I really like the new flying feature they added to latios and latias! Gives me even more of a reason to catch them!

Mega Glalie is said to gain dragon type and have the Refrigerator ability.

Mega Steelix keeps it's typing and gets Sand Rush.

Both pokemon seem to get more offensive in their mega form.

EDIT: Edit @ 18:39: Interview at USGamer confirms that Trainer Customisation is not in this game

I haven't played XY so I haven't had a chance to get attached to Trainer Customization, but it's absence seems like a pretty pointless regression.

Hoping the skies over Hoenn are more interesting than the ocean floor below the Great Eastern Ocean.

Unlike having pokemon follow you around

Trainer customization required so much less out of the 3ds.

I really enjoyed being able to make my character look close to myself in X and Y. Someone on the Serebii forums mentioned that they are hoping that they will allow you to change your skin tone at the very least, but I doubt that much would even be allowed. If I could change the skin tone, then I would definitely consider getting the game. I will really miss being able to change the character's clothes, but can live without it.

This is the article where Junichi Masuda explains why they took out character customization in the remakes. Their reasoning is interesting, but I'm still really irritated by it.

Figured I'd just say... Sinnoh isn't the next region due a remake.

Kanto is.

When Kanto was remade, it was because it was Gen I and you couldn't trade Pokemon from there over to Gen III or higher. It was made to be GBA. Johto was for DS, after Sinnoh. If we're going back by how long it's been and how in need of a remake they are, Kanto wins because it's most recent console is GBA, whereas Sinnoh you can still play in a 3DS due to backwards compatibility.

The order of remakes, I believe, will probably be Kanto, THEN Sinnoh, then probably Johto again, if they keep remaking.

-----

As for trainer customisation, I don't mind that it's gone. I'd have minded if they'd have put more effort into the male side of the customisation, but for example, whereas females got like... ten hairstyles, males got about four. Because there wasn't much diversity allowed for guys, I didn't feel too absorbed into it, and thus I don't care much that it's gone.

I just am looking forward to the adventuring, especially the flying now. I'd wanted to fly like that since my first Pokemon game! It's gonna be so fun~

...Kanto was in Heartgold/SoulSilver and therefore can be played on 3ds. So no, it doesn't need a remake. It already got one. The very notion that it'd get two remakes is in itself just plain silly.

That wasn't Gen I Kanto with Team Rocket. That was just additional-region Kanto so that HG/SS could stay true to G/S/C.

I will give you that I'd forgotten about that, however.

No, it has a story about a Grunt trying to resurge Team Rocket, as well as every core feature the Gen I remake had: The Gym Leaders, Elite 4, Pokemon Champion, Legendary Birds and Mewtwo, and even the Giant Snorlax.
