I will give, it's been like ten years since I've played HG/SS and I forgot that the region was even in them, so eh. I disagree that two remakes is all that far-fetched an idea, but it's not like I particularly care about Gen I anyway.

The games came out 5 years ago though.

Considering Kanto got a face lift in every Generation except 5, I'd say it's overdue for another face-lift. FireRed/LeafGreen remakes might be pushing it a bit though.

You know what would be a cool, if somewhat unlikely development? What if instead of being mere RSE remakes, ORAS ended up being complete Gen 3 remakes, including a new adventure trhrough Kanto and the Sevii Islands among the post-game content?

Anyways, If there is an old Pokemon Adventure that is overdue for a remake, I'd say Colleseum and Gale of Darkness need to get handheld ports on the 3DS with trading between Orre, Collows and Hoenn possible. But yeah, realistically, the next remakes will be of DPPt and be preceded by at least the initial G7 games.

As if Generation 5 and 6 didn't jack off Generation 1's handle off enough, people are talking about generation one remakes?

Does having 150 pokemon of the region you are limited to using, the two rivals you were originally meant to have, and then getting two starters and the most popular starter getting two mega evolutions not do enough to satisfy generation one yet?

Oh wait, that same starter cashed in it's popularity power to get it's own spot on Super Smash Bros Four over two other starters and used it's second mega evolution officially revealed to the hype of it's fans that clamored for it to be a dragon.

so much green and yellow......that doesn't look good at all ;m;
plus, why do the 3 legendaries (Ray, Grou, and Kyo) all have black shiny forms instead of their original colors (black, yellow green, and pink respectively)? I mean, I don't mind, but the black doesn't look good on all of them..

^I've never heard of a paid demo on any of the mainstream digital gaming services, but I have heard the ORAS Demo has some of that early exclusiveness ******** the Smash Bros 3D Demo did.

There have been multiple ways to obtain the demo, including just purchasing Pokemon Art Academy. Its certainly not as exclusive as Gold Club Nintendo Member.

Also if you were signed up to the pokemon newsletter you wouldve gotten an email from them with a broken code that they fixed (so no longer a broken code)

If you haven't played the original, there really isn't much for you. Its more of a nostalgia trip than anything.

Meh. I didn't care for the demo before, and I still don't care now. After Game Freak dumped trainer customization (especially the ability to change your skin color) and said that they will not update pokemon X/Y so that those who have those games can enjoy the new mega evolutions, I have not given a flying **** about the remakes. I probably sound whiny but I don't care, those two reasons pretty much left a really bad taste in my mouth.

I know (Sapphire and Emerald were the first video games I bought with my own money), and when I heard the music I started to cry out of joy. The music was wonderful! <3
Only thing I have to ask though...Wasn't Tabitha a girl in the original?

^What?! No O_o

I'm watching the Team Aqua and Team Magma episodes of the anime right now and Tabitha is clearly a man.

oh. thanks for clearing that up. It was Courtney that I mixed up Tabitha with. ...that and Tabitha is abit of a feminine name where I live at.. It's been 5+ years since I picked up R/S/E so my memory is abit off.
