New pokemon discovered?

Post by Gaon »

apparently has relation to the now confirmed volcanion, name is Magiana.

Its still unknown if it's an early 7th gen pokemon or a future pokemon that will be released with the upcoming pokemon game.

Best part:

It's called the "Man-Made" Pokemon. Meaning people made it.

Porygon was too. Magiana was apparently made 500 years ago.

And Porygon's Pokédex entry says:

(Diamond/Pearl) "The world's first artificially created Pokémon. It can travel through electronic space."

(FireRed) "Using the most advanced technologies, scientists finally succeeded in making the first artificial Pokémon. "

Looks like Silph Co. made Porygon 500 years too late to declare that, and the Pokédex has false facts inside it now.

In all fairness, even as far back as Gen 1, Mewtwo might have predated Porygon in-verse as a man-made Pokemon(though, persumably, Mewtwo's creation was probably top secret even in the games). And new discoveries turning what we think we know about the universe on its head is very much truth in television(Take for example, Galileo debunking the geocentric view of the universe or Einstein's theory of relativity showing the universe isn't Newtonian).

Anyways, I'm guessing this is the first Gen 7 mon revealed considering, as someone mentioned on the other Sonic forum I frequent, Nintendo/GameFreak didn't bother to patch XY with ORAS Megas and this being another G6 mythical Pokemon would require either patching it into XYORAS or breaking the tradition of all mons of a given generation being tradeable between all games of that generation.

Remember at the end of Robots when the aunt and Mr. Bigweld got together?

That's what they made.

I really like the design, I'm guessing Magiana will be another Steel/Fairy type

I'm excited for a 7th gen or possibly more new legendaries (but not as many as Sinnoh and Unova)

I'm amazed at the amount of fanart Magiana has already. It looks like plenty of people are in awe at the cuteness, myself included.
