Chao RP: The Palaces of the Elements

"EEP!" Kyle jumped back in fright at the sudden lightning strike. He quickly turned his head towards the source, only to see Electro grinning at him.

"Don't... don't do that!" Kyle panted. He realized that was the source of the strike earlier by the tree too. Is he trying to get us killed?

[Speeps]

Meanwhile, a Chao called Speeps was running along nearby and saw the lightning strike happen in the distance.

Curious as to why this would happen on a normal day, he ran over to investigate.

Stella's heart almost skipped a beat when she heard thunder a second time. Resolute, she ran full-speed to the scene; taking a few minutes to reach the lake. She didn't see anyone there, even though she swore the lightning came from the vicinity. After a glance to her scrap of paper, she started walking around the lake, not trusting of what could be below the surface.

Snowy circled around the area, looking for some chao to hang out with as he has nothing much to do with life...

"Killed? No, I'm just hyped up!" Electro called back.

(Citrus, you can start wherever. By the tree, by the lake, somewhere different entirely... heck, start behind the house if you want, I don't care! And yes, Kyle was thinking that, but we can pretend that he wasn't since Electro already said that.)

Kyle shook his head and walked up to the house. He stepped up to the door, hesitated for a moment, and then sat down on the porch. "I feel like we should wait for more Chao to show up before we go in... right, Electro?"

Lotus was going for a swim in the lake. She was oblivious to what was going on around her.

Personality: Destiny is a social and outgoing chao, she loves to help and assist others in anyway possible, as well as try to keep her friends safe. She loves a good adventure, and is handy with thinking up tactics and problem solving. She's somewhat smart, and pretty strong.
Bio: Once a regular day chao, she met the Time Heroes and partnered up with them to become their leader. She has learned plenty from them and now spends her time traveling to all sorts of places, willing to help chao who need it.
Abilities/Powers: She has many powers that she rarely uses, including ice, water, fire, wind, and psychic.
Other: Wears a bandanna, ring, armband, necklace and tail ring to represent her powers.

Personality: He tries to be funny, but ends up looking silly. He's a loyal friend and also very defensive for anyone. Xale is usually lax and laid back, but in dangerous situations he becomes very serious. He's Destiny's best friend so he's almost always by her side.
Bio: He used to be a prince in a small hillside kingdom, but when the humans came to destroy it he was saved by an elder who raised him in a village. He was taught swordplay and joined Destiny on adventures around the chao world.
Abilities/Powers: Very mild corrupt power, as well as some psychic. His most obvious strength is his swordplay, in which he's very experienced in.

Personality: Secretive and playful, Hannie loves to learn stuff and play around. She makes friends easily and tends to get along with most. Sometimes she seems very random, but its only her releasing her pent up energy.
Bio: Comes from a small village where it's very quiet. One day she just wanted to be free to adventure, so she left in search of a place where fun was allowed. (Haha, that unintentional reference.)
Abilities/Powers: She can easily lift someone's spirits because of her happiness.

Destiny and Xale were doing their normal wandering, but unbeknownst to Xale, Destiny knew exactly where she was headed off to. Just as Destiny was about to take their turn at the orange tree, Xale stopped.
"Where are you off to?" He asked, looking up to the tree and licking his lips, "There's plenty of fruit here, why not take a break for a bit? We're not missing anything."
With a small shrug, Destiny smiled. "Actually, I was headed off to somewhere in particular, and I'm already sorta running late as it is."
Cocking his head and wrapping his paws around the tree in an attempt to climb it, he grinned. "Huh, really?" He questioned sarcastically, as if he already knew, "Well, at least gimme a second to grab some of these oranges."

Suddenly, Hannie, the happy chao, zoomed past the duo, excitement in her eyes. "Adventure! Adventure!" She cheered, hopping into the lake and swimming across it as opposed to walking around it.

Stella quickly took notice of all the people that seemingly just popped up. There were some in the lake, while others were wandering nearby. "This place's pretty popular, huh?" She said to herself, surprised that she hadn't noticed them sooner. She put the thought aside, reminding herself that it wouldn't be long until she got around to the other side of the water where her destination resided.

Hannie hopped out of the lake and shook herself like a dog, laughing. "Haha! That was a nice swim, and now I'm here!" Opening up her wings and flying around, she continued praising herself aloud.

Once Xale threw down a couple oranges, he jumped down and did a small roll, nearly hitting the tree. Chuckling, he sat back up and scooped up the pile of oranges, getting to his feet. "Okay, NOW we can head out to whereever you were going."

With a nod, Destiny continued her walk, Xale tagging along like always.

Kyle was looking off into the distance when he noticed another Chao heading his way, happily singing to herself. Shyly, he waved. "Hey! Over here!" he called to Hannie. "Looks like everyone's starting to show up now, Electro."

Inside the house, the mysterious explorer Chao could here voices shouting outside. "Ah, so they're here! Perfect, perfect." He slowly stood up from his chair and began walking towards the door.

"...How do you know my name?" he asked, now curious. "I never introduced myself."

[Snowy]

Snowy however, managed to spot Destiny and Xale from up the in the sky. He dove down towards Destiny. When he did. He covered Destiny eyes from behind. "Guess Who?"

Finally landing, she skipped over to Kyle and Electro, proud for no obvious reasons. "Hello! I'm Hannie. Glad to meet you two!"

As Destiny and Xale walked and snacked, they rounded the lake and spotted a few vaugely familiar faces. "Look, there's Electro." Destiny remembered, just before her view was taken. "Huh?" She stopped, uncertainly. "Snowy?"

Nodding, Xale stuffed another orange into his mouth. "Mmhmm."

"Destiny? Over here!" Electro called out, flying upwards a bit with his phoenix wings.

Stella watched on as many other... exotic looking chao passed by. She kept to herself as she neared the house.
