How do I change my image?

Can somebody tell me how do I change my image? I tried many times but I did not succeed Can somebody tell me how?

P.S. Can you put in gif. images too?

Upload them to photobucket then copy the IMG section of the image, that is the easiest way, and I find it the easiest.
[Shouldn't this be under Help and Information?]

That is for signature, for your avatar, Save it and upload it, [can't be big]

1. make an image.

2. save the image.

3. create a photobucket account.

4. upload the image to photobucket.*

5. go to profile on chao island.

6. go to the bottom.

7. go back to photobucket.

8. copy the direct link for the image.

9. paste that in the white rectangle.

10. save your profile.

11. done.

*= same for a GIF
