Every Chao design is breathtakingly original, creative and masterfully designed so it's really hard to pick a favorite out of them all xD
I would say Neutral/Run/Run. Sonic Chao's design is simply amazing

It’s between swim and fly chao for my favorite. Both of those types look good no matter which alignment they are. Next, it would be between power and none types, because I like most of those chao but not all. I find neutral none chao to be incredibly boring, and while I love the coloring on the dark power type chao I don’t quite like how the head is shaped, but it‘s not too bad. Both types of chao look great in other alignments though. And, while I’m probably going to get some hate for saying this, I’m really not overly fond of run type chao. I do like the Sonic chao and all of the dark run types, but I don’t really like the rest. The hero run chao have this weird stick or hook shaped appendage coming out of their head, which I don’t really like. Also, most of the neutral run type chao look like mutated Sonic chao, which I don’t like either. The dark types look just fine, but they’re mostly the only ones of that type that I actually like.

Flying types, of course, because I love the colour of their wings, and well, just bigger wings.
I love Hero Fly/Swim. That deep purple is awesome!
I've recently fallen in love with the two tone white neutral flying.
My second favorite is swimming.
Neutral swim is pretty cool too, I like the wing colour. I'm all about wings!
I like some running ones, but Power and regular... eeeurgh. I don't have any in my gardens.

Definitely swimming. The hero's ears are cute, the neutral's shape is sleek and almost dolphin-like, and the dark is... sharky. I love them so much. ♥

I like all of them, but I'd say swim is my favourite overall. And I really like seeing a Chao that's got a high swim stat swim, the way their feet kick ridiculously fast is pretty cute.

Im going to say I like the run's more. Neutral/Run/Fly is pretty neat and Dark/Run/Power is cool for just looking ridiculous.
