They were a bunch of separate images, lol. When ripping sprites to my game, I usually go about by highlight, pasting in the sprite where I need it. (exact size, transparency, etc). So, naturally, it's just more convenient to have a big sheet then a bunch of little images. (because windows 7 and snapping on my widescreen monitor, its just simpler..hard to explain)

Also. I just added in all the drives/fruit you gave me, and "fixed" the stats that each fruit gives you to be like the original. So the next update will have this..

I need gfx for trees. ;-;
Or something.. A bush or something, maybe.

And I probably won't add any Christmas-y stuff, but if I get some free time I will.

Also..some fun with emulators: http://crossedshadows.com/emulators.png

Ok.

Hmm.......hey what about a plush toy claw game the better the prize the more the rings OR you could make each toy availible for the garden(but to play the game you would need to spend 50 rings)

Already planned on it.. well. Sort of. Just not Hero/Dark specifically.

But the point is to take the original ideas first, perfect them. Then after that do some original things.

For this particular game, I used Game Maker 8 Pro. I'm thinking about redoing the entire thing in Java, though..

Eh. I don't do the whole "I can find things," thing. Thanks for the offer, though.

"Making" animations is virtually useless (besides for flash advertising purposes) to me. Sprites on the other hand.. Like I said earlier, let me see your work.

Completely from scratch? Or are these edits of a base?

I can assist in making sprites as well. I have made a Silver Chao, but it got deleted when my laptop broke down.

I can make it again, if you want.

And yes, if you consider using a normal chao sprite as a base, I did use one, but other than that it's mostly my own creation.

Well, they sorta had a base. I just needed to get the head's width right.

Well, you critiqued mine, I owe you a fair critique as well.

-The menu screen is terrible, the text is too small and pixelated. Almost have to guess which menu button does what.
-The game itself is not the prettiest, and again, way to small and pixelated.
-Try making the animations nicer.
-The game controls are hard to learn and glitchy.
-Use your own graphics, using sega graphics limits freedom and the graphics styles do not match at all. (tiny garden, and then sonic adventure chao race)
-Pretty simple, nothing to give it a lead over the sega classics. Include some fresh ideas, like minigames, and lots of them

I would give it a 2/10 right now.
The first re-release of Chao Sanctuary! Just a bit longer!

You didn't list any of the good things, so giving it a 2 isn't justified.
