Why are there no second evolutions with swim+fly and run+power?
Hi, I hust learned a bit about second evolutions and saw, that there are also evolutions for the two highest stats (swim+run for example). But for some reason, there are no swim+fly or run+power evolutions. Why is that so?

Re: Why are there no second evolutions with swim+fly and run+power?
Short answer: because they are opposing types.
Long answer:
A chao's gradual evolution is influenced by a trio of evolution sliders that range from -1 to +1 with 0 being neutral/normal and the extremes representing pairs of opposing types. These three sliders are:
Hero<>Dark
Swim<>Fly
Run<>Power
When a child chao evolves, the Hero<>Dark slider gets fixed to -1, 0, or +1 until reincarnation, while the direction of the slider with the greater magnitude out of swim<>fly and run<>power determines type of first evolution(normal occurs when both are near 0).
Just as anything that increase Dark influence reduces Hero influence, anything that increase swim influence decrease fly influence and the same for run and power.
When a second evolution is described with e.g. run+fly, both sliders are close to, if not fully, maxed out and when only a ingle type is listed for second evolution, it's because the other slider is close to, if not exactly, 0. Swim+Fly is impossible because they are opposite extremes on the same slider and the same is true for run+power.

Oh, I see!
And what would happen if there where to be a third slider?
Like Intelligence <> Luck
Just in theory
