Re: Who still plays SA2B/SA2?
I still play it. But only for Chao. I have the Xbox 360 version for the A Ranks and Game-play. My GameCube copy for SA2B is scratched up so I can't play it for anything else but the Chao and I'm cool with that.

I still play cause I am not done, I am still new to Sonic a little bit. I got Sonic Adventure 2 on the XBOX 360, I am going to get a dreamcast with Sonic Adventure though.

Re: Who still plays SA2B/SA2?
I have a Dreamcast and a copy of Sonic Adventure 2. I have only played Battle on the PC port though.
To be honest, I haven't ever beaten the "Last" story. I've always enjoyed the original Adventure more. But yes, I do pop it in from time to time. I will probably finish it soon.
Also, first post woo!

Are you using a burned copy on the Dreamcast?krzys2 wrote:Played 1 week ago, had to formal all disks( one disk was corupted on with game was installed), yes strrugle os real 》.》
Well, TBH for SA2 I do aswell, but normal GD's seem to be way easier on the hardware. I think we both need to go out and buy the real game.
That is, unless you have it on the PC.

Re: Who still plays SA2B/SA2?
A few years ago, about like 4, I got the Dreamcast along with a NTSC-U copy of Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Shuffle at my local gamestore (Game Zone DVD). SA2 unfortunately stopped working one day, while I was at my dads house
( Don't even ask. My mom and dad seprated each other since I was a infant.. )
so my dad decided to use his stupid Merlins DVD Magic to fix the disc, but it only MADE IT WORSE.
Cut to sometime this year in 2016, and I bought the Sonic Adventure 2 Birthday Pack on Ebay. It came in a VGA collector box which I had to break it sadly to be able to get the pack out of the glass box.
It came with a NTSC-J version of the game, and with the flip containing the memorable token, soundtrack over the years of Sonic 1-Sonic Adventure 2, and a mini History of Sonic booklet. Only thing is, I
wasn't able to play the NTSC-J copy on my Model 0 NTSC-U Dreamcast. So one month later, and it is April, aka, this current month. I got some CD-Rs and decided to burn: Dream Explorer, Utopia Boot Disc,
and SRB2 ( It is a Dreamcast Homebrew port of the popular fangame, Sonic Robo Blast 2, which I play alot, and host a popular port forwarded server ).
So with the Utopia Boot Disc, I was and now am able to play my NTSC-J copy of SA2 that came with the Birthday Pack ( which costed me $200 ).
Today I am still playing it on the DC, almost daily. I also play Chao Adventure 2 on my VMU, a bit too much X3

How was that? Perfect, like me?
Re: Who still plays SA2B/SA2?
I still play it on PS3 and Steam sometimes, like a few times a month. I still own my game cube copy too, but not my dreamcast one. I mostly do so to spend time raising my Chao, and playing through the stages to get the items for them.

I still play the Gamecube version at least weekly. Mainly for chao, but also for A-ranking and speed-runs. Playing City Escape/Green Forest/Metal Harbour is still so much fun after a stressful day.
It's still thinking...

P.S. The reason I bought the game when I did was because the front of the box looked cool. That was it! I never regreted it though.
Nowadays, I don't really play SA2 that often anymore. Not because I don't find it enjoyable, but just due to lack of motivation, and having so many other games I've been preferring recently. Generally, I only go back for nostalgia trips, and for my chao of course. Despite the fact that I don't play it very much now, I still consider it one of my favourite games.

I do!
In fact, I still play the GCN version to this day, as I see it as the definitive SA2 experience.
The HD re-releases are nice, but it doesn't have Jewel Chao, the ability to transfer Chao, and the Shiny Two Tones are glitched and appear much differently.
Also, I'm currently working on a acquiring adequate pics of all the possible "Bright/Luminescent Chao" the HD version has instead of Shiny Two Tones.
I'm hoping in the end I will have enough data for Chao Island to use on the website :)

Who still plays SA1/SADX?
Who still plays SA1/SADX?
Re: Who still plays SA2B/SA2?
me, unfortunately
Re: Who still plays SA2B/SA2?
I have not recently, but I should. Especially try for 100%. I do not have it with me currently, so that is unfortunate.
But I really enjoy it as well, even if it is a bit clunkier, and looks much worse than SA2B. Also, Gamma is pretty much the best Sonic character, just for his appearance in one game.

I've haven't played a sonic game in quite a while
Re: Who still plays SA2B/SA2?
I've just last year completed both SADX and SA2B. It was a fun ride, not just because of nostalgia. I still like the gameplay and the Chao Garden in the latter of course. I've also collected quite a few emblems in 2, beat all Chao races and Karate except Dark and am now heading for all A-ranks with Shadow. I really love how the missions and the Chao Garden tie together in Battle. And I like that you can unlock new Karts and multiplayer costumes. Although unfortunately I'll probably never unlock Maria's theme or the Green Hill Zone. Too much work.Crash32 wrote:Guys I think the real question here is
