From the start, in the direction of the turtle guarded by the G.U.N. robots, you can see the Chao Container on the platform behind it.

Head to the very top of the first area, and the Chao Container is in a corner behind some small shrubbery.

Rescure the turtle by destroying the G.U.N. robots and you can use it to take you to the next area; the “Huge Oasis”. The Chao Container is located on the top of a pillar to the left side.
