Locating the Ancient Ruins:

Go through the stage as normal until you reach the first aircraft carrier (just after the platform where you get the Light Shoes). Halfway down the runway, on your left will be four large hangars. One will have the second Chao Container inside and above that will be the Ancient Ruin. Use the bounce bracelet to bounce up to reach it.

Finding the Lost Chao:

Activate the ruins with the Mystic Melody and it will spawn some platforms to the right. You need to jump round to the right to be able to reach the platforms. Use the Bounce Bracelet to bounce up to the first platform, then carefully traverse across the ancient platforms. You will likely need to use the homing attack to get some more distance on your jumps, so be careful! When you reach the other side, you will find the Lost Chao.
