There are many different fruit in the various Chao games. Some grow in the Adventure gardens, some can be obtained from the VMU, and others are unobtainable without modding or hacking. No matter where they come from, all fruits fill your Chao's belly and keep it from being hungry. They also raise various stats in the process.

Sonic Adventure 2

All Fruits in this game will increase Stamina by base 0.2 points per bite, which is doubled if the Chao's Stamina is currently lower than its Stamina Ability Points and is done 3 times for Child Chao.

Fruit do not apply any other effects per bite like in the GC Chao Gardens; for all of the following fruit, the only additional effects such as Skill Points are applied on the last bite. These effects are listed in the below tables:

	Heart Fruit	The last bite of this fruit will increase your Chao's Desire to Mate value by 200.
	Energy Fruit	Increases Curiosity and Energetic by 10. Shifts towards Naive by 10. Subtracts Carefree by 10.
	Peace Fruit	Decreases Curiosity and Energetic by 10. Shifts away Naive by 10. Adds Carefree by 10.
	Smart Fruit	Raises your Chao's Intelligence by base 10.0.
	Round Fruit	Delicious shape fruit. Chao may dislike this fruit based on its personal preference.
	Triangle Fruit	Delicious shape fruit. Chao may dislike this fruit based on its personal preference.
	Square Fruit	Delicious shape fruit. Chao may dislike this fruit based on its personal preference.
	Hero Fruit	Shifts the Chao towards Hero Alignment. Gives +0.15 (Last Bite) Dark Chao dislike this fruit.
	Dark Fruit	Shifts the Chao towards Dark Alignment. Gives -0.15 (Last Bite). Hero Chao dislike this fruit.
