When a Chao receives a small animal, it also inherits an action that it can perform when it chooses. These animal actions are a subset of the many actions which Chao are free to perform in the gardens.
Sonic Adventure 1 / DX
Here are the animals you can obtain in Sonic Adventure 1 and Sonic Adventure DX. All actions are the same with the exception of the Koala.
