Sonic Speed Simualtor is a multiplayer Sonic game available on Roblox.
Friends
Chao feature in the game as a type of pet, known as a friend, that can be equipped to the player character, granting them different effects in the process. Friends are found via several different methods: gacha vending machines, event vendors, daily, premium and boss battle wheel spins, and as a premium purchase via Robux. They are equipped to give bonuses to the player’s stats, which vary based on the friend equipped, its level, and whether it has been evolved. Evolving a friend costs red star rings and is done via a fusion machine. In order to evolve a friend, the player must combine 5 identical friends at max level. Doing so consumes the friends used, and grants a new copy of that friend with higher stats. Up to 3 friends can be equipped at a time, or up to 5 with premium upgrades bought with Robux. Other types of friends include Cocos and Wisps.
